N&W RS EP 1 BRANCH LINE ENGINES

The Norfolk and Western was the last Class 1 railroad in America to use steam locomotives. It would later merge with Southern to form Norfolk Southern, as it is known today. But what if the steamers of the N&W were to return? What wouldhappen if the steel rails that saw the last of a breed thunder over would feel the first of a new one? This is the second part of Season 2 of the podcast, as we imagine Norfolk & Western steam returning to home rails to haul regular freight and passenger trains in modern times. This episode will feature branch line operations, primarily with M Class 4-8-0 locomotives. Enjoy a glimpse of what's to come.Photo Attributes1.  "Norfolk and Western 382" by Mobilus In Mobili is licensed under CC BY-SA 2.02.
