Fit for Duty

from Sit for the Task Hosted by Matt and Sarah

For many people, staying in shape can feel like a full-time job. For Officer Anthony Price, it’s one of three. Also a police officer and dad of four, Anthony gives us some insight into what it takes to keep all three jobs running smoothly. When we moved into the neighborhood, Anthony and his family were some of the first people we met. It was quickly clear we shared the same passion for fitness. In a career that requires physical readiness but has little to no physical standards, Anthony sets his own. In this episode, Anthony recounts his own experiences in the police force. He shares the importance of perspective and how he has learned that “fitness for duty” is not just a physical state, but a state of mental readiness and maturity. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kV6G9gcIvJE&feature=youtu.be
