Five for Friday, Episode 053, Self Care Success Stories

from The Heart of Hospice Podcast · host Helen Bauer & Jerry Fenter

The first half of 2017 has come and gone, and now the calendar says it's almost time for school to start again.  Where did the time go?  It's time to do a "reset" on our self care, and Helen and Jerry discuss a way to do that in this episode of Five for Friday.   One of the best ways to stay motivated with a goal, any goal, is to remember your successes.  So lets share our self care success stories with each other.  Maybe your success story is what you consider a "small" success; maybe you quit drinking sodas for a month, or you set a goal to practice yoga 3 times a week.  Great! Tell us about that. Or maybe your success is one you consider a "big" success; maybe you've lost 40 pounds since the beginning of the year.  Terrific! Write to us and tell us about it.   Our goal is to encourage each other by letting you hear the success stories of our family of listeners.  We hope that it will encourage you to keep doing what's working for you, or to set a new goal for yourself.   Send us an email and let us know about your self care success story at [email protected]  It would be our privilege to encourage all of our listeners to become better self care practitioners.  We care about you, whether you're a personal caregiver for a loved one, or a professional hospice provider caring for many patients.  Your success is our success.   Visit our website at www.theheartofhospice.com or find us on Facebook and Twitter, and be sure to subscribe to our podcast.  Share this episode with your friends on Facebook or Twitter, if this has been helpful to you.
