Five Senses Meditation Practice for Kiddos with The Adventures of Super Stretch

from Super Stretch Yoga · host Jes Rosenberg

It’s time to do a Five Senses meditation practice with Hani the Silly Monkey and The Adventures of Super Stretch! This is a SUPER Sensory Awareness Practice that will help your kiddo focus and learn new ways to deal with their big feelings and emotions. Did you know that You have five senses – sight, smell, sound, taste and touch. Each one of them is really important in your everyday life. You use at least one of your five senses every moment of every day and they are on duty even when you are asleep! Your senses work together to let your brain focus and know what is going on around you. Super Stretch believes that when we pay attention and focus our minds on something, as simple as the five senses, it can make us feel so good and relaxed that we release all of the goofy, fidgety feelings. Let's join them for a meditation to find calm. Take a deep breath in, and AHhhhhhhhh… a deep breath out.
