It's not like they haven't had their fair share of injuries, failures to launch, and tough losses. But by and large, they've been cruising so far this season, and it's fun to watch. The recent rush by the current administration to erase anything they consider "DEI" (read: not about a straight white guy) took Jackie Robinson down with it. And though they eventually put it back, the league and the Dodger organization made no comments about it and the Dodgers visited the White House. How can a league celebrate the life of a man who's very essence of why he's important was just (attemptedly) annihilated by the most powerful politician in the country? Finally, Grace has a lush movie minute that is also a book adaptation. She loves a 50s period piece about repressed sexuality, and one of the best in a long while has arrived, boasting an impressive cast, beautiful technicals, and great source material.
