When you have plays, sometimes those employees don't want to be there. Sometimes the business owners don't want to be there. So I say focus on your superpower. Hey guys, if you're like me, you've always had a desire to do more.

And deep inside, you've known there's a way and a possibility for you to achieve your dreams, the lifestyle, and achieve the freedom you've always wanted. Because we have what it takes to get things done and learn from others and get the mindset to achieve the dreams we've always wanted. Welcome to SB Warriors. Hey, what's up SB Warriors?

Okay, you're in. I'm wondering for myself and I'm sure some of you guys are like, what is your superpower? Because I think a lot of times we tend to focus on trying to figure everything out, that we don't focus on doing the things that we do well. And we end up becoming kind of like, decent at a lot of things.

And I remember hearing a quote, I forgot through since the enemy of great is good. And so you get good at a lot of things, especially if you're like a soul entrepreneur, you're out there doing things yourself, you're maybe you're a small crew of people, you're a small business. And a lot of times I noticed that I take time to bring other people in to help me out. But what I noticed is I just started bringing out people on to do things.

It is a huge weight off my shoulders. And I don't know why I'm like, why did it wait so long? Because it makes it a lot easier if you have a team of people who can help you. I'll give you a perfect example.

We were shooting a short film and I was the writer slash director slash cinematographer slash editor. And the only thing I didn't do for this short film was actually acting. And so it was a lot of fun to do, but I got to tell you, it was a learning experience. We were driving around and I had the kind of locations picked out and I scouted it out ahead of time.

So I'm also the set director, you know, the figure and all these things, the sound guy. And it was crazy because what I would do is actually had a friend that would co-director with me. I apologize. And he would drive and or I would drive and we'd literally get our shots like out of the back of a car while the guys were doing, the actors were doing their stuff.

And we were totally guerrilla filming this. And if you don't know what that means is basically you don't have a permit. You're using actors who are most of them. Usually you should use actors to have some sort of talent.

And usually those people who have talent are signatory that means they're part of the guild for the screen actor skill. Anyway, so we're putting it together and I got to tell you, I was exhausted, like literally doing everything. And by doing everything, I really didn't get to like totally isolate and focus on a craft of one or the other. And it's a good learning experience because it helped me round out my skills to be able to apply it, whether I'm shooting a business commercial, other things.

But when you're like, you're trying to do every little thing, you end up missing a lot of the small nuances that are important for that particular, whether it's a movie, whether it's your business, whether it's getting your customers. So my thing is like focus on what you're good at. Here's a classic example I have noticed. You go to a business and or you go into a location.

And you'll notice that there's sometimes there's just something in the air and I've talked about it before. And that energy in the air is usually created by the people who influence it the most. So usually it's a manager, maybe it's the owner, and it's just overall like, wow, I like this place and I like coming here. And in order to get that, you have to courage, you have to consciously create that.

It's not, it doesn't happen organically. And the only way it will, if that person is generally that upbeat of a person. So I say focus on your superpower. If your superpower is being good at books, then you know what?

Be good at the books. Be good at putting together the systems of process. If you're that type of personality. Because then it frees you up to bring in somebody who is a people person.

There's so many times I've heard phone calls from like we do tracking the phone calls and I'll hear those phone calls. And the person, even the business owner who's answering the phone, you can vary depending on who it is. There's inconsistencies in the phone calls. There's one, two, there's a lack of energy.

And then there's also a lack of empathy. That's a lot of things that people don't talk about. It's like, you know, your empathy for your client. Like, wow, like how is it that you don't care about this person who is trying to get a problem solved in your business?

And so I just say, you know what? That means you're having the wrong person in the wrong position. And so I look at a lot of things as sports. Sports, sports and dating are kind of the way I look at a lot of things.

And the reason why sports is such a powerful thing is because it's a team sport. There is no business that is successful that doesn't have a successful team. And I think becomes unsuccessful is because they stop following principles to become successful. So that team needs to do their plays.

And their plays are providing great customer service, providing great service of value. And a lot of times if you put that wrong player in that position, then all of a sudden your team starts to lack. It's like putting the kicker and all of a sudden that quarterback. It's like, why did you put the kicker in that quarterback?

It isn't not a throw. He's a kicker. Well, that's a lot of times people are doing in their business. They are sticking somebody who is maybe not very good at it.

They are not good listeners. They don't have the empathy to actually care about the other person inside the field. They are just like, hello. It's like one of those type of things.

So my thing is if you stick the individuals that you hire in the right position, then that person or that individual can flourish where they are naturally good at. So you want that people person at the front to greet people. You want that person answering the phones. And if that person isn't there yet and they value their job, guess what?

They better put on a different hat and you better be on them to make those changes. Sometimes we hire the wrong people for the right reasons, but they are not the best fit. And I guilty of this myself. I enjoy certain things in my business.

And there are certain things that are hard, but I can do it. And I'm like, you know what? I feel so much freer. And my goal, my personal goal is to create more time so I can be around my kids.

They start soccer this year. I'm super, super excited about that. So my goal is to create systems and processes to where I can start outsourcing some of the things that I don't necessarily know necessarily have to do. I can do it, but the question is why?

Why not create a team? Because by having that team, I can also leverage. One of the most important things you can do is by leveraging the example of where I'm building on a new app to help business owners get more growth and more reach in far as their business. In the process of building the app, I have built websites.

I have done minor coding. And if I took that time, all of a sudden to study some different types of coding in order to build the processes, it takes a long time. Even using something, I don't know if you guys are familiar with this, there's a thing called Zaps. And Zaps will connect certain processes with other things so they communicate.

Overall, it's pretty easy, but it still takes time. It takes time to go, okay, let me see what I'm doing here. If you're ever doing any sort of editing for your website and you're setting up something like as simple as a DNS settings, and if this is getting too techy, apologize. But basically it means your address for your website.

So you maybe have an address where you buy your domain at, say, Doodaddy, Bluehost, Namecheek, whatever, and you buy your domain name. Where are you going to point that domain to? Whether it's WordPress, whether in my case it's ClickFunnels. And so we're going to point that domain somewhere.

Well, sometimes people don't know how to set that up and they get overwhelmed and stressed. And stress is a killer for your business. Not only does it kill your thought process, it slows you down, it changes your energy. That stress, if you can eliminate stress, holy cow, it can have volumes impacting your business.

And I want you to imagine this. Imagine you get a phone call from a new lead, somebody who's interested in your services. And if that person's interested in your services, well, if you're so overwhelmed with stress, we're trying to figure out something that you're not proficient in or maybe you're challenged in. Then all of a sudden your focus changes and your focus is focusing on fixing this little thing that I can pay someone $10 to fix.

Do it, they can do it by 15 minutes or less. Or let's say I spent up to 50 bucks at most. And then all of a sudden I get a prospect calling me up, but I'm so focused. My mind is preoccupied with not having something done.

And as most entrepreneurs, we're momentum players. We like momentum. So we want to feel like we are accomplishing little steps. And if we don't get that momentum, it really affects us.

It affects me personally. And so if I can't generate those little steps, man, it's a buzz kill. And you start to feel a little dial. You start questioning your things.

Now imagine I get a phone call from a client who's interested in my services. And I'm still on that buzz kill. Like, what do you think my demeanor is going to be? It's going to be awful.

You know, people buy you. I really believe that people buy you. And it's not just your knowledge base. It's your ability to convince them that you can solve the problem that they have.

You're a problem solver. We are problem solvers. All of us. And so we have to be able to sell that to them.

Not to where we're scammy selling them, but we're just presenting ourselves in a way. Now, if we go back to dating, you know, like you had a bad day at work and all of a sudden you try to not bring that with you. And if you bring with you on that date, like imagine a first date and you're grumpy, you're complaining, you're moaning, you're bitching. And everyone's like, goodness gracious, like you suck.

Like who wants to be around you? That's why if we do what we're good at, allow our strengths to be put in the right spot on the team. We excel. We totally excel.

And some of you guys, if you've ever played sports, you've seen it happen where you're like, where does kid come from? Maybe it's even on a team of somebody in your family or coach. A coach that can represent, recognize talent. They'll build, wow, this kid is good at this.

But what if we do this and all of a sudden we change something? We change something about that player we move from maybe a tight end to a defensive end. And all of a sudden that player, all of a sudden becomes, you know, one of the top guys in my business conference, my business nation, whatever it is, but you see it happen all the time. And what's funny, I laugh at myself.

I love sports. I just don't get a chance to watch them. And so I make fun of myself because it's like here I make sports analogy and I watch what I can. But man, I just went out to my son's game.

And I'm really awful. Not like I'm evil or anything, but I am out there and I'm the loudest dad. I'm louder than a coach and my son's only seven. But I can tell you, I'm super passionate about trying to help my kids.

And this is why I do this business. My goal for all of you guys is to create the lifestyle that you originally started when you started your small business opportunity, your entrepreneurship, your journey is for us to achieve the life in the dream you always wanted. I don't want what happens to my parents. And if you haven't, maybe you're jumping in the first time you're listening, I don't want what happens to my parents when they open up a business head and close it down due to lack of knowledge, lack of belief, lack of action, you know, lack of clarity of what they're supposed to do.

So focus on your strengths, my strengths and your strengths are different. So you got to focus on those to bring to bring it out of the best. It's it is you're putting together your dream team, your dream team for whatever it is you're doing. And if you have that dream team, you're unstoppable.

If you have that vision for what you want for that business, have faith in what you're doing. And I got to tell you, you put yourself in that spot by building momentum and the things you're naturally gifted at, you'll be surprised because your team will come together rally behind that vision, and you'll ultimately lead into success. And you might have challenges, you might have some failures, but guess what? You keep pushing through those failures and you will find the right formula for that success.

And I say it, you might have to make some changes in that. But a good coach, a good player will recognize where those people need to be. And the first thing we have to do before we can start worrying about everybody else is we have to know where we are. What is your superpower?

What is your superpower? What is that you're good at that you can focus and make a difference in people's lives and things that you come natural to you that you might even take for granted? Keep pushing guys. Think about that and we'll see you next time.
