True discipleship involves moving beyond mere association with Jesus to genuine apprenticeship. We are constantly being shaped by something—whether culture, fear, comfort, or Christ himself. Formation differs from information; it's the slow, intentional shaping of our inner life and outer habits to increasingly reflect Jesus's character.
