Meanwhile, he (Srila Bhaktisiddhanta) had given attention to this printing process, with which he printed pamphlets, newsletters and books. He advocated for a mansion of books. He advocated for millions of pamphlets and articles and newsletters to go out. In fact, he had several newsletters that would go out on a regular basis, daily. He had been questioned once by a reporter who was amazed that he could print a newsletter every day. "Have any of you ever done a newsletter?" "Come on, somebody say yes." "Did you do it daily?" I did one for maybe fourteen years, and I did it twice a week, and Śraddhā Devī helped me, and she can attest to the fact that a lot of times I'd sleep some days because I was trying to finish the newsletter and get it sent to her before the deadline. But he did several newsletters that were going out every day. And the reporter, being incredulous at this, said, "How do you have so much news?" And Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākur said, "Well, newspapers in the mundane world come out every day. There's much more news coming from the spiritual world than there is from this mundane world where the news isn't really new. It's the same thing." In fact, somebody said last night something that resonated: "If you want to find out something new, look at an old book." Whereas the spiritual world is ever fresh. Kṛṣṇa's pastimes are unlimited. His names are unlimited. Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākur advocated for the mass distribution of literature so that people who are under the grip of māyā could be liberated by this literary intervention, which is advocated for by Caitanya Mahāprabhu Himself, who said to Sanātana Gosvāmī even before the printing press was even conceived: māyā-mugdha jīvera nāhi svataḥ kṛṣṇa-jñāna jīvere kṛpāya kailā kṛṣṇa veda-purāṇa (Cc. Madhya 20.122) That in order for a soul to be wrested from the grips of māyā, he or she needs a literary intervention given by Śrīla Vyāsadeva. That was part of the yukta-vairāgya. But he also saw that people around the world needed to be introduced to Kṛṣṇa consciousness—but not just a culture—the actual philosophy of Kṛṣṇa consciousness that can be adopted by anyone in any place in the world. ------------------------------------------------------------ To connect with His Grace Vaiśeṣika Dāsa, please visit https://www.fanthespark.com/next-steps/ask-vaisesika-dasa/ ------------------------------------------------------------ Add to your wisdom literature collection: https://iskconsv.com/book-store/ https://www.bbtacademic.com/books/ https://thefourquestionsbook.com/ ------------------------------------------------------------ Join us live on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/FanTheSpark/ Podcasts: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/sound-bhakti/id1132423868 For the latest videos, subscribe https://www.youtube.com/@FanTheSpark For the latest in SoundCloud: https://soundcloud.com/fan-the-spark ------------------------------------------------------------ #spiritualawakening #soul #spiritualexperience #spiritualpurposeoflife #spiritualgrowthlessons #secretsofspirituality #vaisesikaprabhu #vaisesikadasa #vaisesikaprabhulectures #spirituality #bhaktiyoga #krishna #spiritualpurposeoflife #krishnaspirituality #spiritualusachannel #whybhaktiisimportant #whyspiritualityisimportant #vaisesika #spiritualconnection #thepowerofspiritualstudy #selfrealization #spirituallectures #spiritualstudy #spiritualquestions #spiritualquestionsanswered #trendingspiritualtopics #fanthespark #spiritualpowerofmeditation #spiritualteachersonyoutube #spiritualhabits #spiritualclarity #bhagavadgita #srimadbhagavatam #spiritualbeings #kttvg #keepthetranscendentalvibrationgoing #spiritualpurpose

Song Against Songs, The by G. K. Chesterton (1874 - 1936) LibriVox LibriVox volunteers bring you 9 recordings of The Song Against Songs by G. K. Chesterton. This was the Fortnightly Poetry project for October 16, 2011.Chesterton was a large man, standing 6 feet 4 inches (1.93 m) and weighing around 21 stone (130 kg; 290 lb). His girth gave rise to a famous anecdote. During World War I a lady in London asked why he was not 'out at the Front'; he replied, 'If you go round to the side, you will see that I am.' On another occasion he remarked to his friend George Bernard Shaw: "To look at you, anyone would think a famine had struck England". Shaw retorted, "To look at you, anyone would think you have caused it". P. G. Wodehouse once described a very loud crash as "a sound like Chesterton falling onto a sheet of tin."( Summary from Wikipedia ) Spanish with Levi Levi Flint 🎙️ Welcome to Spanish with Levi — formerly Mexican Fluency.I’m Levi — a gringo with a Master’s in Teaching Spanish — and I’m here to help you understand and sound more Mexican when you speak.Alongside my Mexican wife, Renata, I share practical tips, immersive stories, and real conversations to help you build fluency and speak with confidence.📅 New episodes every week:• Tuesdays: Smarter ways to study Spanish• Thursdays: Immersive content — stories, scene breakdowns, and interviewsExplore my courses, blog, and more at SpanishWithLevi.com📱 Follow me on social: @SpanishWithLevi Newsic – The sound of the headlines Newsic Team Newsic – The sound of the headlines.
