Food security and hunger

Food was in the news in different ways this past week, from the sharp price increases of basic food products to the Competition Commission's investigation into the fresh produce market. Statistics South Africa also published a report that states that more than 2 million households in South Africa suffered from hunger in 2021. This is worrying.
