FOOTBALL: Former Galway player Gareth Bradshaw looks ahead to Galway versus Kildare with Darren Kelly

Two weeks following their defeat to Roscommon in the Connacht Final, Galway's senior footballers begin their quest for All-Ireland silverware this Saturday (23rd May) when they host Kildare in Round 1. Memories of one of Galway's great days will come flooding back (the 1998 Final) but the Tribesmen have a very impressive record against the Lilywhites.  They haven't lost to Kildare in competitive action since 1985, and are aiming to go 15 games unbeaten against the Leinster side.
