Transcript:Cy: Ar ddiwrnod tawel o aeaf, pan oedd yr haul yn erbyn y dydd, cerddodd Gwyn a Rhian trwy’r Glastir Hudol, lle'r oedd heddwch yn hangian yn yr aer a’r goedwig yn cuddio dan flanced o eira newydd.En: On a quiet winter day, when the sun was up against the day, Gwyn and Rhian walked through the Glastir Hudol (Enchanted Meadow), where peace hung in the air and the forest lay hidden under a blanket of fresh snow.Cy: Roedd y golygfeydd o’r coed pinwydd wedi’u gorchuddio â rhew yn dweud straeon o fyd i ffwrdd, fel petai’n arbennig am y Nadolig.En: The views of the pine trees covered in frost told stories of a distant world, especially as if for Christmas.Cy: Aethant heibio i’r bont bren fechan a oedd yn pontio’r nant wedi’i rhewi’n rhannol.En: They passed by the small wooden bridge that spanned the partially frozen stream.Cy: Fodd bynnag, nid llinellau’r nant, ond y traed rhyfedd oedd yn cymryd sylw Gwyn.En: However, it was not the lines of the stream, but the strange footprints that caught Gwyn's attention.Cy: Edrychodd lawr, gweld olion traed yn ystyfnig yn y eira, yn arwain i ffwrdd o’r bont fach.En: He looked down, seeing stubborn footprints in the snow, leading away from the small bridge.Cy: “Rhian,” meddai’n gyffrous a chyda sïon uchelgais, “mae’n rhaid i ni ddilyn hyn!”En: “Rhian,” he said excitedly and with a whisper of ambition, “we must follow this!”Cy: Amheuai Rhian, ond roedd yn deall y tân yn llygaid Gwyn.En: Rhian hesitated, but she understood the fire in Gwyn's eyes.Cy: “Eira’n bwrw’n drwm, Gwyn, mae’n dywyll diwrnod yma,” rhesymegolodd Rhian, ond gwnaeth yr eira a’i dwylo wrth ychwanegu, “Ond dw i’n dod gyda thi.En: “Snow is falling heavily, Gwyn, it’s a dark day today,” reasoned Rhian, but with the snow on her hands, she added, “But I’m coming with you.Cy: Gad i ni beidio mynd yn rhy bell.”En: Let’s not go too far.”Cy: Gyda’i gilydd, cerddodd y ddau yn ofalus, yn ôl yr olion traed.En: Together, the two walked carefully, following the footprints.Cy: Roedd gwynt oer y gaeaf yn blino yn ei dwylo a’r alwad wneud iddynt aros yn agos.En: The cold winter wind bit at their hands and the call made them stay close.Cy: Wrth fynd ymlaen, sylwent fod yr eira’n deneu’r traciau, ond roedd hawl hadyn y chwilfrydedd wedi'i hau ar y glastir o glas coetir.En: As they went on, they noticed that the snow thinned the tracks, but the seed of curiosity had been sown in the field of blue woodland.Cy: Pan drodd y dydd i lwydni cynnar yr hwyr, cyrhaeddasant glirfa cuddiedig.En: When the day turned to the early grayness of evening, they reached a hidden clearing.Cy: Yma, ar lannau’r coed cysglyg, arosogodd rhywbeth anarferol eu craffu: gwrthrych hynafol yn cuddio dan eira a gemau rewlif.En: Here, on the edge of the dormant trees, something unusual awaited their scrutiny: an ancient object hidden under snow and glacier gems.Cy: Gwyn symudodd ymlaen yn gyflym ond â phrofiad, dechreuodd Rhian gloddio wrth ei ymyl.En: Gwyn moved forward quickly but with experience, and Rhian began to dig beside him.Cy: Y peth gwelent oedd cwmpawd wedi’i rhydlydu, wedi’i baentio â’r ddefodiadol a’r dirgelwch.En: What they saw was a rusted compass, painted with ritualistic and mysterious markings.Cy: Gwaeddodd Gwyn o lawenydd, ond cymerodd funud i weithredu ei safiad, “I ni, dyma gyfeireb.”En: Gwyn shouted with joy, but it took him a minute to grasp its significance, “To us, this is a guide.”Cy: Moderniaeth a Phan oeddant yn gwrthod eu blaenau, Gwyn yn troi ‘r spedyn.En: When modernity and the refusal to acknowledge their frontiers, Gwyn turned the spindle.Cy: Y cyfeiriad oedd a ergyd arallol gyda gwirionedd o’r golau wedi dod arnynt.En: The direction was a staggering blow with the truth of the light coming upon them.Cy: Colegiad a serch, y ddau wnaeth y penderfyniad i ddychwelyd, benderfrenol i lŷn cysgod.En: In agreement and affection, the two made the decision to return, determinedly to the shadowy lake.Cy: Wedyn roeddent yn cerdded trwy’r coetir, a’r colli llwybr o olion troed wedi diflannu gan y gwlybaniaeth o synnEn: Then they walked through the woodland, and the lost path of footprints vanished in the dampness of a curious new beginning.Cy: Wedi cyrraedd adref, roedd rhyddhad yn gorffwys ar eu llygaid.En: Upon reaching home, relief rested upon their eyes.Cy: “Rydyn ni’n byw hon ond iddo gael adref, ond tybiwn o hyd iddi gael ei phob un,” meddai Gwyn, gyda chariad a doethine.En: “We survived this, but it brought us home, but we still thought of it as belonging to everyone,” Gwyn said, with love and wisdom.Cy: Adoiaf Rhian, “Cawn i raddio’r dirgelwch hwn, y chwilfrydedd yw’r prysgl?”En: Rhian replied, “Will we unravel this mystery, is curiosity the treasure?”Cy: Y diwrnod honno yn y Glastir Hudol, fel y llygaid criyw'r un ac ysbryd y gyfargl, dysgodd Gwyn werth ofal, tra bod Rhian wedi gweld y swyn mewn dirgelion a’r weithred archwilio.En: That day in the Glastir Hudol, as the eyes glowed bright and the spirit of discovery, Gwyn learned the value of caution, while Rhian saw the charm in mysteries and the act of exploration.Cy: Ac fel yr eira wedi disgyn dros eu coetir, gwasgarodd ymdeiml yn syml a hawdd i gartref.En: And as the snow had fallen over their woodland, an understanding of simplicity and ease dispersed to their home.
