Finance Minister Enoch Godongwana has announced a new budget date. The revised budget will be tabled on the 21st May 2025. This follows a court challenge that the Democratic Alliance and Economic Freed Fighters had brought in the country's High Court in the Western Cape Province, in opposition of his proposed hike in the country's Value Added Tax.
