The teaching here is that every person was sent to earth to accomplish specific assignments agreed to pre-mortally, and that a woman fulfills her role regardless of whether she has children. Feeling restless or "underused" can be a sign the Spirit is nudging you toward more of what you came to do.Q: How do I discover what my personal mission is?A: Seek it through prayer, the scriptures, and the temple — consistently, not just once. Sometimes the mission is found right where the Lord has already placed you. Increasing obedience and consecrating your gifts to Him position you to recognize and fulfill it, line upon line.Q: Why would God give me hard trials if He has a mission for me?A: Because, as Sister Nelson teaches, some of the most heart-wrenching experiences are designed to prepare us with the very skills and understanding the Lord needs us to have. As we trust in His power and timing, we can come through our trials refined rather than consumed.Q: What is the prophesied role of women in the last days?A: President Spencer W.
