The UFC antitrust case has been going now for over a decade, but there is an end in sight, at least for the Plaintiffs in the Le v. Zuffa class. Imagine the collective surprise of the community when we got our very first objection filed by none other than former women’s strawweight champion, Carla Esparza (now married and using her husband’s surname of Lomeli). She filed objections to the attorney’s fees and to Nate Quarry being paid from the settlement money. We address her objections and explain the particulars of attorney fees and why they can’t just pay Nate from that pool of money.
