Defence counsel for the family late Zambian President, Edgar Lungu has argued that the remains of the deceased cannot be contracted over. Advocate Tembeka Ngcukaitobi has argued that the Pretoria High Court must follow the law of succession which will empower Lungu's wife, Esther, to determine where the late statesman will be buried. He was representing the family in a bid to appeal an earlier court decision which ordered that the former head of state be buried in his home country.
