Fort Worth ISD starts today; Free Pre-K in Dallas ISD; Mansfield nursing home lawsuit

School is officially back in session for students in the Fort Worth school district. It's the first year the district is operating under state control and comes after more than 1,100 teachers resigned or retired during the last school year. Also, DISD is hoping to fill more preschool classrooms. For the first time, every 3- and 4-year-old who live within the district can attend pre-school for free, regardless of family income. Plus, a North Texas woman who was fired from her job at a Mansfield nursing home has filed a federal discrimination lawsuit against her employer.
