The 53rd Irish Hot Air Balloon Championships is back in Lough Key Forest Park after more than 30 years and Boyle, County Roscommon are delighted. Visitors can watch the world- class event, also known as "The Irish Meet" for FREE, with twice daily launches, morning around 7:00am and evening around 5:30pm, weather permitting. This family friendly event, kicks off on the evening of 20th September, with participants from the US, England, Scotland, Wales, France, Germany and Ireland taking part in a week of challenges to find this year’s champion balloonist.
