Freakishly Generous Ep. 4 - Who are the poor and how do we help them?

One of the great challenges of learning how to give to the poor is giving with great generosity and great wisdom. To give generously without being wise leads to the detriment of the poor and the pride of thegiver.We have a responsibility when we give to remember the mission of God, which is the salvation of people, not simply the alleviation of material poverty. In this episode we will discuss how poverty is actually a relational problem, not an economic problem. And if we try to solve a relational problem with money, we will end up stripping people of dignity and making the problem worse. If the problem is relational then the solution mustbe relational.
