Fredrick Cannon is the founder and president of Ascension Sports Consulting, where he leverages over 21 years of grassroots basketball expertise to impact young athletes nationwide. Previously, Fredrick served as the Director of the Team Felton Basketball Under Armour Grassroots program for 11 years, during which he ensured that every player in the program earned a college scholarship. This impressive achievement led to his creation of the #NoStudentLoans movement, a testament to his commitment to supporting student-athletes and their futures. Through Ascension Sports, Fredrick continues to mentor and guide young hoopers, helping them excel both on the court and in life.A native of Ruffin, North Carolina, Fredrick has always been passionate about helping others. He is a proud graduate of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where he completed both his undergraduate and master’s degrees. Fredrick’s deep understanding of the game, coupled with his dedication to youth development, drives his work at Ascension Sports.
