Akron Is A Tech HubAkron has been designated a Regional Technology and Innovation Hub by the U.S. Department of Commerce, making it eligible for up to $70 million in federal funding. U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown announced the selection from 31 hubs chosen out of nearly 400 applicants.
