French EXPRESSIONS: Make excuses: Weekend practice Je n'ai pas assez de temps. = I don’t have enough time. Je n'ai pas les moyens de me payer des cours de français.=  I can’t afford to pay for a French course. Je ne connais personne avec qui parler français. = I don’t have anyone to practice French with. Je suis trop vieux pour apprendre français. =  I’m too old to learn French. De toute façon, j'ai réalisé que je n'étais pas bon en langues. = I realized I’m not good at languages anyway. Je suis trop timide pour parler français. = I’m too shy to speak French. J'ai peur d'essayer de parler parce que je fais beaucoup trop d'erreurs. = I’m afraid to try to communicate because I make too many mistakes. Je n'ai pas encore trouvé la meilleure méthode d'apprentissage. = I haven’t found the best learning technique yet. Tout le monde parle anglais, pourquoi s'embêter ? = Everyone speaks English, so why bother? J'ai essayé de l'apprendre, mais maintenant je suis bloqué. = I tried to learn it before, but now I am stuck. J'ai une mauvaise mémoire. = I have a bad memory.
