And once you get this visual, if it's raining out, and somebody pushes you in the mud and stands there to see what you're gonna do, what's the first thing that comes to your mind? Hey guys, if you're like me, you've always had a desire to do more. And deep inside, you've known there's a way and a possibility for you to achieve your dreams, the lifestyle, and achieve the freedom you've always wanted. Because we have what it takes to get things done and learn from others and get the mindset to achieve the dreams we've always wanted.
Welcome to SB Warriors! Hey, SB Warriors, Paul K here, and thanks for tuning in today. So it's been a crazy, crazy couple of days for me, but I wanted to reach out to you guys and kind of talk to you about something that I'm experiencing. I'm seeing a good friend of mine go through, and it's making me think some of the things that I'm also going through, and it has to do with grit.
And so when I ask that first question, and I want you guys to do yourself a favor if you can, if you're safely, if you're not driving or something like this, if you were to close your eyes, and somebody pushed you, intentionally, and it's raining and you fall into a puddle of mud, and they stand there to see what you would do. What is the first thing that comes to your mind? And the reason why I ask this is because I think we all have this natural thing in us, where some people are going to know the answer right away. I'm going to stand up.
I'm going to run. I'm going to kick him in the leg. I'm going to knock his sock off. Whatever that is for you, that's going to be your truth.
And there's nothing wrong with it. There's no right answer or wrong answer. But I know that it makes me think about like, it's like our grit, like what makes us stand up to the things we believe in and a fight for what we want in our lives. And to me, that's knowing your why.
And it comes down to like your core of who you are. And you can't take that away from you because that's who you are. Now, you can change it. You can mold it.
Like if you're if you're not happy with something, like say hypothetically, maybe you get angry too fast or maybe you're too nice. You know, like you can change those things. But the core of who you are as a person is always the same. I believe if you're a genuine person, you're always going to be a genuine person.
We all have bad days and good days. But for us to have that to stick in something when it's not feeling well, to push forward, like that is great. That takes us to know what our why is of what we're doing and why we're doing it. Sometimes you don't know the exact purpose of what it is you're going through, but you're going through it for a reason.
And I'll give you a perfect example. So when Facebook shut down my ad account, I was live it, live it. I thought like life was, you know, not to the extreme, but I thought, you know, like my opportunities were narrowing down on me. And I had a moment where I had to make a choice.
And my choice was either to take it, lay there, run away or fight. And I was like, you know what? I'm fighting. I'm fighting because this isn't the only advertising source.
Yes, this is a big conglomerate. Yes, that controls a lot of things that were there in my outreach and my potential perspective customers and all these other things that they have control over me. Well, they really don't have that control over me. If I give it to them, they can because guess what?
There are 300 million people in this country. And if you're listening to this in another country, they're like throughout the world, like billions of people that you can reach out to. And one entity doesn't have control of all of them. So you can find ways to get in touch with people because if you look at it, if how many people do you need to give you $1 every month for you to live the lifestyle you've always wanted?
And for everybody that number is different, but let's just say hypothetically, your number is around $30,000 a month. I think most people can live a comfortable lifestyle at $30,000 a month. But if you think about it, that's only 30,000 people out of the United States at 300 million. I mean, you do the math, that's nothing.
So I'm just saying this because I know that when we're going through stuff, we feel defeated. We feel like nobody knows what we're going through. We feel down on ourselves. We beat ourselves up even to make ourselves feel worse than the scenario that started in the first place.
And now you have a chance to really examine, okay, I understand I'm going through this challenge. I don't know why I'm going through this challenge. I just know I'm going through it. And I listen to this one motivational speaker.
It's like, you know what? I'm going through this problem and thank you, God. And thank you for allowing me to be in this process because a lot of times, everything I've seen is accessible people, the things that they thought were the worst things end up being. Their strength, like that strength that that challenge became a strength and became like a badge that where they had to grow in order to become that that next phase of their successful career or successful part of their life.
And if you look at you live weights, right, first time you touch a weight, it's heavy or gymnastics is a perfect example. So I don't think it was ever done gymnastics, but there's a lot of friction that goes on with the hands with some grabs a bar. They're spinning around that bar very fast, right? So if you look at it, if you're looking at gymnast hands, they have calluses all on their hands.
Now, the first time you grab that bar. And you try to do a spin. Hey, you're not going to be able to do a spin the first time. But when you start getting the momentum, you're swinging, your hands are going to sting.
They're going to hurt. And then you're going to get blisters and then those blisters are going to be little filled sacks of fluid, of interstitch of fluid that your body is trying to protect itself. And it's naturally doing what it's supposed to do to protect your hand. And the only way your hand is going to get strong enough and tough enough is if you keep swinging that bar and you keep going and you get bloody blisters and you hurt and you go, you go to bed, your hands hurt, you wake up your hands hurt, you touch the wrong thing, your hand hurts.
And guess what? You have to take a needle, you have to pop that blister, let it heal, you have to file it down, you have to pull it off and get real skin and it hurts. That is something that once you do that, you keep doing it and all of a sudden one day you have calluses on your hands and you can jump on that bar and you can spin. You can do everything you're supposed to do as the athlete that you were training to be.
Now, what are you training for in your business? What is that friction point on your hands in your life that is causing you to go through this problem, the process? Now, if you're ignoring that there is something in your life that you need to change and you're not doing it and you're letting yourself continually get beat up and you're not building any calluses. To learn and grow and to develop into what you're supposed to be, then that's on you.
But I really believe we're putting the situation so we can learn and grow and we can take ourselves to the next level. If we don't learn from our mistakes, we're doomed to repeat them. And yes, that is on us. Ultimately, I'll take it on me.
What I do, I'm responsible for, nobody else. So challenge yourself, SB Warriors, understand that your grit, your why is buried down deep inside. My why is my family. The create the vision of life that I've always wanted to actually show my parents there is a better way.
So other people, my goal is to help other people by helping other people. I can help myself by helping other people realize there is a better way to get outreach for your business. There's a better way to market your business than most people are doing. So that's my vision because I don't want to see anybody else like my parents.
I don't want to see anybody else in that situation if they can avoid it, especially with the amount of information that's out there. Anyway, keep pushing guys. I hope you understand where I'm coming from and understand that it's passion and this grit. When you're down, you get up, you get up, you keep moving and you move.
Don't know where to go, walk and you'll figure it out and you turn and you go in a different direction. Do not let indecision be a decision for your life, for your business. Thanks for listening, SB Warriors, keep pushing. Hey SB Warriors, thanks for listening to today's podcast.
