I haven’t put a lot of thought into who would carry me at my funeral. I have always figured that my family would do so – close cousins, kids, grandkids. Jesus didn’t have that – no, we would expect that his disciples would care for His body after His death. But His disciples were scattered! Here’s where we see Nicodemus and Joseph of Arimathea step in.
