Friendly fire? USS Gettysburg in the Red Sea and the Hamas Israel war

We of course wanted to follow up the USS Liberty series with coverage of another potentially friendly fire situation thats taken (taking?) place in the "heat of war". I was just googling other times where folks have accidentally attacked their 'allies' and who is more of an ally than yourself???
