That’s why when Jesus wanted to bond his followers to him and one another, he offered them the shared meal we call Holy Communion. By it we share in the presence of Christ. And sharing a meal with people we love who may not know Christ builds a bond of trust. If an unbeliever invites you to a meal and you want to go, eat whatever is put before you . . . . -1 Corinthians 10:27
