Philippians 2:5-11 Nature of Christ: King The Apostle Paul proclaims how to have the same mindset of Jesus Christ and his humility. As Jesus is exalted to the highest place as Lord, how might we best glorify him as the Lord of Lords and King of Kings?

Hebrews 3:1-14 Nature of Christ: Priest The writer of Hebrews proclaims how Jesus is “our apostle and high priest” and whose faithfulness is greater than that of Moses! As Jesus holds the nature of this priestly office, how do we believe and trust in his mission and purpose?

Acts 3:11-25 Nature of Christ: Prophet Peter proclaims how the Holy and Righteous One who was put to death is the one God raised up as the prophet. How does the prophetic witness of Christ continue to inspire people to engage in mission & ministry in his name?

Inspired by passages in Revelation, chapters 7, 21, 22 At Rainforest Falls, we have been exploring the nature of God! We celebrate the week of learning & growing with God our Creator!

Nature of God: Love 1 John 4:12-21 In John’s first letter, we are reminded how love comes from God, and the nature of God is love! How does this love invite us to live in Christ, live without fear, and live loving our brother and sister?

Nature of God: Holy Isaiah 6:1-13 The calling of the prophet Isaiah is a very holy experience. As we explore the nature of God as holy, may we hear and claim the words of Isaiah in our day, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?”

Acts 2:1-18 Grace: Resisting & Welcoming Fifty days after the resurrection of Jesus, the Day of Pentecost arrived with a mighty wind and tongues of fire, enabling the apostles to share the Good News of Jesus. Where is the Spirit guiding you on this day? And where might you be resisting God’s grace and needing to welcome it?

Acts 1:1-11 Grace: Miracles As Jesus prepares to make his ascension into heaven, he instructs them to be his witnesses in Jerusalem, in Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth. Where is Jesus inviting us to claim his miracles? And which miracles of spiritual growth do you most need to claim right now?

cts 17:22-31 Growth & Religion Paul’s journey to Athens discovers a religious community needing encouragement to believe in the LORD God and in his son risen from the dead. Do your beliefs need a faith-infusion? And where are you personally growing and spiritually growing?

John 14:15-21 Love: Taking Risks We step back into Gospel time and remember when Jesus promised the Holy Spirit and urges the disciples to love him by keeping his commandments. How do these words inspire you on this day? And where in your life do you need to take risks to love like Jesus?

The Other Way Luke 19:28-40 As Jesus makes his entry in Jerusalem, this moment on the road feels both like the end and the beginning. While a pilgrimage may reach its destination, the hope, wisdom, and life lessons learned along the way have offered a new starting point for us. What “other” way are we called to in the name of right relationship with Christ?

The Way Home Luke 15:11-32 As Jesus shares the story of the prodigal son, he demonstrates the father’s great love for his children. No matter what we call “home” in this physical world, we yearn for a spiritual home offering serenity, acceptance, and belonging. How might you and I find our way home in this season?

Fireproofing Your Faith Mark 9:2-9 After Jesus takes his inner circle of disciples onto a mountain to pray, he is transfigured before them, and they have an amazing spiritual experience. How do you and I “fireproof” our faith to trust and believe?

Fireproofing Your Relationships Romans 12:9-16 The Apostle Paul encourages the Roman Christians to put their love in action! How do you and I “fireproof” our relationships by putting our love in action today?

Fireproofing Your 1,440 Minutes Matthew 6:25-34 As Jesus teaches the sermon on the mount, he encourages the crowds to not worry about tomorrow. How do you and I “fireproof” our days worrying less and trusting more?

Time for Good News Luke 7:18-22 Later, John the Baptist’s disciples were sent to the Lord asking, “Are you the one who is to come, or should we expect someone else?” Jesus reveals the good news brought to the world through him. In this new year, how do you and I claim what we believe and claim about Jesus?

Praise the LORD Psalm 148 The psalmist proclaims praise for all of creation! In these Twelve Days of Christmas, how might you and I offer our praise for the birth of the King of Kings and Lord of Lords?

Psalm 33:1-9, 20-22 Lighting of Advent Wreath - Love The psalmist proclaims how the LORD loves righteousness and justice and how the earth is full of his unfailing love. How might we seek righteousness and justice in our day and wait for the LORD?

Mountains Bring Peace Psalm 72:1-7, 18-19 Lighting of Advent Wreath - Peace As the psalmist proclaims sentiments about a righteous king, may God’s glorious name be blessed forever! How might you and I anticipate the One who will bring peace to the earth?

Psalm 65 Lighting of Advent Wreath - Hope The psalmist proclaims the hope of being in relationship with the LORD God. How do you and I join in hope for what is to come for the Advent season?

Luke 14:15-24 As someone proclaims, “Blessed is the one will eat at the feast in the kingdom of God,” Jesus tells a parable of the Great Banquet and those who gave excuses to not attend. Who gets a taste of his banquet?

Luke 14:7-14 When Jesus notices how guests picked places of honor at the table, he tells a parable, and then he shares who to invite! Who have you invited to your table, and who needs to be invited?

John 2:1-11 At a wedding in Cana, the wine ran out, and then Jesus changes water into wine. In response, the Master of the banquet proclaims how “you have saved the best till now.” On this Stewardship Sunday, prayerfully commit to God your best for 2026.

Mark 7:24-30 A Syrophoenician woman seeks healing for her child. The woman and Jesus then engage in a conversation about bread, dogs, and crumbs. How do Jesus’s words speak to you today about expanding the Kingdom?

Matthew 9:9-13 While Jesus was having dinner at Matthew’s house, the Pharisees wonder why the teacher eats with tax collectors and sinners. Who was Jesus sent to serve and to save, and how do you avoid being too judgey?

Luke 10:1-11 Jesus sends out 70+ saying “the harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few.” Those sent were invited to eat and drink what was given to them. How do you trust in God’s provision when serving Christ?

John 6:25-35 After feeding the crowds, the people look for Jesus, and he proclaims that he is the Bread of Life. In a world looking for quick fixes, how can you seek the spiritual food which will satisfy?

1 Peter 4:8-11 As Peter writes to believers, he says, “If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ.” Service is necessary to revive our love.

John 7:37-44 The people said in response to Jesus, “Does not Scripture say that the Messiah will come from David’s descendants and from Bethlehem, the town where David lived?” Study of the Word of God is necessary to revive our hope.

John 4:19-26 Jesus says to the woman at the well, “God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.” Worship is necessary to revive our faith.

Matthew 11:25-30 Jesus says, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." This inviation helps us to learn and grow as disciples. How might we extend an invitation to others to seek Jesus?

Luke 9:23-27 Jesus says, "Whever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me." How might we best carry these tasks as we commit ourselves to being true disciples of Jesus Christ?

Matthew 15:29-38 Jesus asks, "How many loaves to you have?" when he had compassion on the crowds and wanted to feed them. How does God invite us into mission and ministry to feed and to share resources with others?

Mark 2:1-12 Jesus asks, "Which is easier: to say to this paralyzed man, 'Your sins are forgiven,' or to say, 'Get up, take your mat and walk'?" How do we bring others to experience forgiveness and healing in the name of Jesus Christ?

Mark 12:28-34 Jesus asks, "Of all the commandments, which is the most important?" Loving God and loving neighbor is the most important commandment. How might we better love with the love of the Lord?

John 3:1-16 Jesus says to Nicodemus, "I have spoken to you of earthly things and you do not believe; how then will you believe if I speak of heavenly things?" As Jesus and Nicodemus practive reflective listening, how might we be inspired to do likewise?

Matthew 6:9-15 Jesus says to his disciples, "This, then, is how you should pray..." How does the Lord's Prayer provide a guide for our journeys with prayer in relationship with God and one another?

John 17:1-5 Faith is tested when one wears a mask in terms of living out what it means to be a Christian. Jesus prays to be glorified before his disciples and other believers. How might you remove your mask to authentically live out the Christian life of faith?

Luke 10:38-42 Faith is tested when one forgets that putting our faith into action is important! The story of Mary and Martha demonstrates how there are times when we need to sit at Jesus’ feet, and there are times when we need to serve. How might you put your faith into action in Jesus’ name?

Matthew 28:16-20 Come worship with all the excitement and joy of our kids as we celebrate our week of True North Vacation Bible School with a special message, scripture, music, and much fun!

Acts 2:1-8, 22-24 Faith is tested when one chooses to believe that life is just “fine” without allowing the Spirit to guide and to lead. On the Day of Pentecost, the Holy Spirit arrived with presence and power to equip the disciples for their mission. How do we claim the Spirit’s presence and power to equip believers today?

John 10:1-10 Faith is tested when one struggles to embrace the abundant life that Jesus offers! Jesus, the Gate for the sheep and the Good Shepherd, lays down his life for the sheep! How is Jesus inviting you to embrace the abundant life as a reality for the present and for the future?

Because I Want to Be Happy John 21:1-19 Faith is tested when one seeks to find happiness and/or joy in non-spiritual places. The disciples returned to fishing, and then Jesus appears to them. Jesus asks Peter three times, “Do you love me?” Peter is reinstated for focus on his mission. How might you seek spiritual joy versus happiness?

Acts 11:1-18 Faith is tested when one encounters a challenging verse or passage of scripture. Peter tells a story about his unusual vision with a clear message that Peter cannot call anything impure that God has made clean! How has God expanded your understanding of the Bible and the Kingdom?

Acts 16:16-34 Faith is tested when one prays yet wonders if God is listening. After Paul and Silas heal a woman, they end up in prison where they pray and witness to the power of God! How might you experience transformation through the power of prayer?

Acts 16:9-15 Faith is tested when one struggles to discern God’s will. The Apostle Paul has a vision that leads him to Macedonia. There, he meets Lydia whose heart was open to the gospel message, and her household is transformed! How do we need to trust the Spirit’s guidance in our lives?

John 20:19-31 Faith is tested when one struggles to know what God looks like. Thomas’ doubt was evident as he needed to see the Risen Christ for himself. How do we need to see to believe? In this collaborative message with Camp Fontanelle's Kate Millington, hear life-transforming stories about camping ministries.

Matthew 28:1-10 At dawn on the first day of the week, women go to the tomb and find it empty with an angel saying, “He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay.” The women are then instructed to share this news with the other disciples! This Easter, how will you “come and see” the Risen Lord?
