Friends of God - Romans 3 - 4

The relationship we all begin with before we are Christians is broken. We don’t realize our offenses toward our Creator until we hear the Gospel. We then understand the impact our sin has had upon our lives, all those we interact with, and most importantly, our relationship to God. How do we become friends with God and He with us? It’s only made possible by Christ’s reconciling death upon the cross for our sins. We are forgiven for our sin, and Christ’s death burial, and resurrection makes us friends with God if we believe first we are sinners; and that we need to turn away from our sins and turn toward following Jesus. Faith in what Jesus has done for us makes us friends with God.
