Chris McHugh has been in the sport of Beach Volleyball for over 15 years and has achieved almost everything you can including a historic Gold Medal win at the first ever Commonwealth Games Volleyball event on the Gold Coast in 2018. Beach Volleyball players rely heavily on prize money to forge a career in the sport and so when COVID hit in 2020 and all events were canceled, overnight Chris was without a wage, a wife on maternity leave and a young family to support.
