From Complex To Queens, Episode 283: Back to your regularly scheduled programming

from Home Run Applesauce: A New York Mets podcast · host Home Run Applesauce

Welcome to From Complex to Queens, Home Run Applesauce’s podcast focusing on the Mets’ minor league system. Since we last spoke, the Olympics have started; we discuss our watching choices between track and field, gymnastics, and swimming for promote extend trade. After that, we do a round up on the Mets draft class, going over who they’ve signed at this point. Overall, our impressions are still positive, and it’s encouraging to have a group of competent people at the helm. Moving to trade season, we dive into the Stanek and Winker trades while pondering what the Mets should try to do before the Tuesday deadline. Bottom line is that the team looks quite good at this point, but could really use another arm or three. We close things out with a listener question from Rob on the current state of middle infield prospects in the system.
