From Nascar to Healthcare - HITMC Rising Star Award Winner

One of my favorite HITMC Awards is the HITMC Rising Star award.  I love how it recognizes someone who is new to healthcare, but in many cases has marketing and PR experience in other industries.  This often means that the winner is bringing in some outside knowledge and perspective that can benefit healthcare.  This was definitely the case with 2022 HITMC Rising Star Award Winner, Olivia Schlabach who works as Associate Vice President at FINN Partners.   As you probably inferred from the title, Schlabach worked in marketing at Nascar before making the switch to healthcare.  When we sat down with her for the video interview below, we asked her what it was like going from marketing in Nascar to healthcare.  She highlighted how many core principles are the same and that plenty of things she did in Nascar were transferrable to healthcare.   Learn more about FINN Partners: https://www.finnpartners.com/  Check out all the healthcare marketing award winners: https://www.hitmc.com/2022-medigy-hitmc-awards/
