From Stage to Screen: Durban City Orchestra’s Final Concert - 27 August 2026

The Durban City Orchestra is set to present the third and final concert in its popular “From Stage to Screen” series, following two sold-out performances earlier this month. Music veteran and Chairman of the Durban City Orchestra, Wayne Richards, joins us to share more about the orchestra’s accomplished musicians, the inspiration behind the themed concert series and the incredible response from audiences. He also gives us a glimpse into Sunday’s programme, featuring much-loved music from fantasy, animation and family favourites, and tells listeners how they can experience this spectacular musical celebration.
