Jan grew up in the hills of southeast Ohio, Appalachia region, where grit, humor, and a strong sense of purpose shaped his journey. His memoir, Searching for Change, is more than a personal story—it’s a deeply-human look at finding happiness in hardship and transforming adversity into purpose.  Jan is a proud veteran of the U.S. Air Force and Ohio Air National Guard, where he served as a Training Specialist in a communications squadron. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Finance from The Ohio State University—but his real education came from life, leadership, and learning how to make people care about what really matters. Today, Jan’s mission is simple: help people see the possibility of change—whether in their personal life, their mindset, or their business.
