El 17 de diciembre de 2023 se publicó la noticia de la desgraciada muerte de un hombre de unos 70 años durante el partido Granada-Athletic de la liga española. La noticia me hizo recordar que hacía unos veinte años, ya había hablado en un artículo del aumento de incidencias de sucesos cardiovasculares adversos entre los aficionados al fútbol. En aquella ocasión, explicaba un estudio realizado en Inglaterra, en el que se describía un significativo aumento de infartos de miocardio entre los aficionados de los equipos más desfavorecidos.
