Gabriela Gasparin segue a máxima de que "é caminhando que se faz o caminho…", ainda que muitas vezes esse "caminhar" nos atravessa, nos joga frente a frente com um de nossos maiores medos como humanos: o da morte. Aos 32 anos, ela foi diagnosticada com um câncer de mama, 3 anos depois descobriu uma metástase óssea em estágio inicial o que a levou a repensar sua forma de se "deslocar" no mundo. Há alguns anos, ela trocou a correria das redações pelo caminhar mais sutil das palavras, palavras que ela foi encontrar mais sentido quando resolveu peregrinar. No ano passado, Gabriela percorreu os 550 quilômetros do Caminho de São Francisco de Assis, na Itália, caminho que para muitos é até mais desafiador do que o mítico Santiago de Compostela.
