In this chapter, Paul directly confronts the false teaching that had begun influencing the Galatian believers. Some were teaching that faith in Christ was not enough and that people needed to add obedience to the Law in order to be accepted by God. Paul responds by reminding them that salvation has always been received through faith. Using Abraham as his example, Paul demonstrates that people are justified before God by faith and not by works of the Law.
