Galesburg Boys Fall in Final Game of Holiday Tournament

The Galesburg Silver Streaks boys basketball team lose their final game of the Taylorville Holiday Tournament to the Rochester Rockets, 66-56. The Streaks had a good start in the first half; however, turnovers caught up to them in the second half as they committed 23 over the course of the game. The Rockets took the opportunities they had to win by double digits. The Streaks finished the tournament with a 1-4 record and are 5-12 overall for the season. Senior Jace Keith was named the Dave's Auto Body Crunch-Time Player of the Game for his role throughout the game being a leader for the team. He finished with 21 points and 9 rebounds. The Streaks will return after the New Year to open up Western Big 6 play on Friday, January 5th, against Sterling.
