Galesburg Express returns Saturday with full day of free holiday fun downtown

Tuesday Cetin (Galesburg Community Arts Center) and Denise Gerstenberger (Discovery Depot) preview "Galesburg Express" – the big holiday celebration downtown this Saturday, December 13. Here’s what’s on tap: 🎅 8 a.m. – Donuts & Cocoa with Santa at Discovery Depot (tickets still available) 🎨 10 a.m.–3 p.m. – Free kids art drop-in at the Arts Center 🛍️ All day – Santa sightings, story times, ornament DIY, treats on Seminary Street 🍻 Noon–4 p.m. – Holiday Pop-Up Market & Pub Crawl 🎬 2 p.m. – Free Polar Express at the Orpheum (wear your PJs!) 🎬 7 p.m. – Free Home Alone at the Orpheum Hear why they want everyone to “stay all day” and how they plan to grow the event even bigger next year.
