Galesburg Heritage Days marks 30 years of living history

This free event, drawing nearly 1,000 reenactors and 50 merchants, combines a Pre-1840 Early American Rendezvous with a Civil War Battle Encampment. The Galesburg Area Children’s Theatre performs “The Emperor’s New Clothes,” and the Victorian Tea Ladies present a Civil War Sisters in Service Tea. With food vendors, kid-friendly activities like the candy cannon, and shuttle services, the event offers something for all.
