He took his Ph.D from the Universita Cattolica del Sacre Muore di Milano and the American University of Beirut. He has been a journalist stationed in the Middle East and was a senate candidate in 2018 for the Liberi e Uguali party in Italy. He currently lives in Bergamo, Italy.
