Garden of Doom E. 172 Harvesting Humans

from Garden of Thought · host Jeff Lippman

This show is almost a crossover with Garden Views based on the content involving the publishing business, etc. We're joined by recovering lawyer and now author, Philip Brown. He's written two of a likely trilogy which combines aspects of science fiction and historical fiction, to tell a story that is part homage to his grandfather and part commentary of the human condition. We discuss the books, his inspirations, a bit on politics (I know, I typically avoid this), and the publishing business.Philip Raymond Brown lives in Colorado with his fabulous wife, fourbeautiful children, and two good dogs. He has a B.A. in History and PoliticalScience from Le Moyne College and a J.D. from Washington & LeeUniversity School of Law.Writing fiction is Philip's lifelong dream, and is his second career. In 2017, hewalked away from a highly successful career as a trial attorney to pursue thisdream. While writing IT GIVES YOU STRENGTH, he devoted his time to his family, coaching little league and youth basketball. This year, while his heroic wife, the fabulous Dr. Sarah Brown, was on the front lines of the battle againstCOVID 19, Philip was homeschooling their four children. As a trial attorney, he received numerous accolades, including being namedto Best Lawyers in America, attaining the highest ethical/ability peer reviewrating ("AV") in Martindale-Hubbell, and being listed in Super Lawyers. The sequel to STRENGTH, HARVESTING EARTHLINGS For Fun ANDPROFIT was released in the Summer of 2022.For a detailed description of both books including reviews, Chapter one, anda link to the audiobooks of both novels, please visit Philip's website at http://www.philipraymondbrown.com.On social media, Philip may be found on Facebook at https://m.facebook.com/ItGivesYouStrength/?ref=bookmarks.On Instagram at https://www.instagram.com/p/CCVL8cmlQ_B/?igshid=7wkbchimp9y4;On Twitter at @philipraymondb1For Press or Business inquiries, please [email protected].
