As any long time listener knows, I've been looking for a Marine Biologist to talk to. Well, the sea was angry that day, my friends, because I found my white whale. Alan Moore is a marine biologist and the President and Director of two accredited Marine Biology programs in Western Florida. They specialize is sharks and rays. So, of course we talked about sharks and rays. We also talk about - queue heroic music - octopusses!. Also, whales, porpoises, dolphins, seals, and lots of other animals great and small. It's to time to enjoy a deep dive.Epilogue: This guest revealed to me some days after the recording that he was not a Marine BIologist. He assured me he had the other requisite certifications and did run the school. He asked me not to air the show as he felt he didn't do well. I listened back and thought he was fine. But I agreed not to air the show contingent upon us re-recording limited primarily to sharks, rays and the school AND he'd send over some actual marine biologists. Neither contingency happened. I thought nothing of it until I saw him seeking guest spots on podcasts again. Judge for yourself.
