Garden of Thought E.320 Africa and Space

from Garden of Thought · host Jeff Lippman

Ruvimbo Samaga is an African lawyer with multiple degrees. She currently practices in Zimbabwe, her country of birth. She's achived many accolades and is a frequent speaker, consultant, alumnus of the Space Court Foundation's Lachs Moot Court competition, and has a start up related to space based technology to aid agriculture. We discuss her journey and her understanding and involvement with African interests in space. In addition to Africa's approaches to creating space programs and influencing space policy and regulation on an international basis.Of course I talk about Bond villains. Of course we talk about treaties and international law and some of my greatest hits. But we mostly focus on Samaga's insights and experience. And the Garden continues it's (unique?) podcast journey into exploring space interests and policies around the world.
