Garden of Thought E.350 Prophets

from Garden of Thought · host Jeff Lippman

I've often wondered why is someone considered a prophet. Like, good enough to be considered one from a scriptural standpoint. What did they see, dream, write and say? So I turned to a student of scripture. The Torah to be specific. From "Good and Sweet Torah", we welcome back Laivi Schor to go over what is prophect? Why did prophecy end? When does it return? And who were the prophets of what you might call The Old Testament. We go through a bunch, but there's no time to visit them all. Who knew? Turns out, we'll have to do a separate show on Ezekial. I really am fascinated by Ezekial and the Merkaba. We're all going to visit the plagues on a future episode. Those plagues. And others.
