Dan Gaskill has been many things. He twice got kicked out of University for drunken fighting. Enter the Marine Corps. His GPA went from a 0.13 to over a 3.8 and his wife told him to go to law school. After a suggested meeting, he made contact with Tom Fay, who became his mentor, friend, and partner in trying to help particular people against particular Defendants. Both were personally offended that victim's of the 1983 Beirut bombing could not get legal assistance due to the law, they decided to act. Over time, they spent their own funds as small legal practices, to change Federal Law; State's Law; procure top secret documents and evidence; and fight until the Supreme Court. They actually created a legal path to sue Nation Sponsors of Terrorism. Listen to this unlikely story, which contains so many sub-stories in it. You don't want to miss this show.
