Gary Hart, from West Sussex, experienced a lot during his time in the Armed Forces as a member of the Parachute Regiment. Then he lost his way in the civilian world. After employment support from The Poppy Factory and training funded by ABF The Soldiers’ Charity and Greenwich Hospital, Gary qualified as a personal trainer. He has now launched a gym and personal training initiative in Littlehampton, where he and other veterans use their skills to inspire and motivate young people in the community.After being supported by The Poppy Factory, Gary and his partner Poppy established the Veterans’ Volunteer Service in Littlehampton.
