Gary Kobat and Elizabeth Hamilton | Navigating Change

from The Best Ever You Show · host Elizabeth Hamilton-Guarino and Dr. Katie Eastman

"Navigating the Path of Change."  There is a time when most of us go through a major change, or course correction in our life. When old patterns and belief systems don't work anymore, come to an end and new patterns must begin. Sometimes its dramatic, a crisis happens: a bike crash, accident, cancer, divorce, a death where a sense of disorientation exists, where new values, beliefs, are not formed yet. Its challenging - this gap: moving from safety and security to a place with no-legs underneath you. Like a caterpillar transforming into a butterfly -moving from legs to only wings when it comes time to fly. A time when we learn to trust, to love and accept our experience, and move out of fear, shame, and not-enough-ness. Most transform over time, some do not - they are too scared to let go of their their attachment to being validated from the outside, to fear and their story. They resist growth, stay in jobs, relationships long beyond the point where they have outgrown them. They attach themselves to a familiar pain vs trust any unknown pain. Experiencing major change in your life? Feeling in limbo or confused in what to do next? It's ok, we all go through it.
