Gary Stead: Former Black Caps coach on Kane Williamson's career, retirement

Some closest to Kane Williamson's career are taking time to bask in the glory of one of New Zealand's greatest cricketers.  Williamson is immediately retiring from international cricket ahead of New Zealand's second test against England starting Wednesday.  He finishes with the most New Zealand test runs, most centuries and an astonishing average of 54.06.  Gary Stead coached the Black Caps between 2018 and 2025 and says two of Williamson's knocks with the bat stand out most.  He joined Lesley Murdoch to reflect on Williamson’s career.   LISTEN ABOVE See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
