Navy officers approached Amarah regarding her husband, aware that he was likely with an enemy. Their suspicions grew, as they had been monitoring the house and knew about the underground floor. Armed with a search warrant, they proceeded to inspect the premises. Overwhelmed with fear, Amarah allowed them to conduct their search, expressing her concern for her husband's safety and her lack of knowledge about how the floor operated. The Navy officers soon discovered the mechanism: the center of the floor had disconnected from the second level, descending to the third. The aquarium room was located on the second floor, and the method of access was kept concealed. Three streams, resembling water, emerged from the floor below, but the Navy men didn't inquire further since they were in the underground area.
