This fall we're revisiting our cultural values as a church; "Christ is our Core," "Mission is our Mandate," "Family is our Foundation," "People are our Priority," and "Generosity is our Gift." Our cultural values are the lived-out expression of Christ in us as followers of Jesus. In this sermon, Pastor Jeremiah unpacks what our fifth cultural value is all about. Generosity is our Gift: We believe we are managers of our time, talents and treasures, which are all entrusted to us by God. One of the greatest gifts from God is the invitation to partner in building God’s kingdom here on earth as it is in Heaven. As we are transformed by God’s redeeming grace, generosity shifts from being an act, to becoming part of our identity.
