Generosity Leads to Prosperity

from Mighty Wind TV Podcast (audio) · host Mighty Wind Broadcasting Network TV

Generosity Leads to Prosperity A generous soul will prosper, but stinginess leads to poverty. Prov. 11:24 NKJ "There is one who scatters yet increases more; and there is one who withholds more than is right, but it leads to poverty." Proverbs 11:25 NKJ "The generous soul will be made rich, and he who waters will also be watered himself." We are called to be generous and called to receive the blessing that comes from it! Generosity is defined as the quality of being kind and generous, a readiness to give more of money, time or talents, or giving more than is expected or more than is necessary. A generous person has learned the art of living large in Christ! Our greatest example of generosity is our Lord our Maker. Look at nature, the stars, the oceans – God is generous. Above all God demonstrated His generosity when He offered His Son as a sacrifice to atone four our sin. 2 Cor. 9:15 "Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift." Thank God for this gift, too wonderful for words! The gift of Jesus to mankind was the ultimate act of generosity. When you are generous you are resembling your Savior’s heart! Generosity pleases God for it models after our Maker. God rewards the generous soul. Col. 3:23 & 24 "And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ." www.cathycoppola.org www.houseofglorychurch.org #generosity #generosityleadstoprosperity #generoussoulpropsers #prosperity Date of service 11/11/23
